Welcome to MyOwnDemon.com. I guess you clicked on ‘About Me’ because you want to know a little more about me and this website. Okay, on with the show…
I go by the name ‘MyOwnDemon’ when I’m online (which also explains the name of the website in case you were wondering), but my real name is Jason. I’m 28 years old and I currently reside in the lovely state of Ohio. I enjoy playing guitar, video games, and drinking with friends… but above all - I enjoy internet marketing and developing websites. It’s a feeling of accomplishment that is second to none even if it means many sleepless nights and lots of risky decision making. I absolutely love it.
Right after highschool, I tried college for a year but it just wasn’t for me. I hated going to class, I hated studying things I would probably never use, and I just felt like I was on the fastpath to becoming a lifeless, corporate drone. So, I dropped out. After 8 long years of working dead-end jobs, constantly being broke, and hating every second of it - I was surfing the net one day and discovered a website called Wickedfire. It changed my life forever and opened new doors to me that I never even knew existed. I had entered the world of internet marketing, websites, SEO, PPC, QS, PR, and a whole bunch of other things I had never even heard about before but would soon come to know all too well.
After a year of working a job by day and learning the internet marketing ropes by night, I was finally able to quit my job. I now make my living fulltime online through various income streams and wouldn’t have it any other way. I flip sites, freelance design work, do some SEO and PPC, and run a small network of entertainment sites. It wasn’t easy to get where I’m at today, but I am proud of myself and what I’ve been able to accomplish. I make enough money to live a comfortable lifestyle without having to worry about bills and a being tied down to a crappy job anymore.
My goal with this blog is to talk a little bit about internet marketing, SEO, PPC, design, and things of that nature - but sometimes I will write about just whatever is on mind whether it’s video games or music or whatever. This blog doesn’t really have a specific topic so it’s not one of those hardcore ‘make money online’ sites… although I do plan to write ALOT about marketing and the internet in general.
